Slimmie is a British artist making dance music. She’s a a multi-instrumentalist, classically trained ballerina, and has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine

This seasoned electronica, pop and house musician was the first UK artist to perform live on SecondLife, spawning appearances on numerous European radio and television outlets including the UK's CapitalFM and Radio One. Performances have ranged from Nelson Mandela’s '46664' Concert, Sport Relief and The Prince of Wales Rainforest Trust.

Adding composer to Slimmie’s job description, she was awarded ‘Best Sound Design’ in 2012’s 48 Hours Film Festival.

Having worked with the same producers as Eric Clapton and Sting; in addition to collaborating and creating with artists from Grammy nominated DJ Andy Moor, to UK producer Steve Williams, Slimmie is becoming a familiar name within the European music dance scene.

Comparisons are hard to come by, simply because there is no one doing what she is doing; crushing musical genre lines and reinventing your musical outlook.

This dynamic innovator not only has an eclectic past, but an electric future.

Slimmie is currently working on her second solo album.

Reflecting influences from many genres, her vocals, original compositions and overall production sound reflect an intriguing blend of dance and house, with trance and techno overtones.
