'Marina Rock' - AOR Disco Site Mix

So this is a mix done for the AOR Disco website back in mid July 2010, had a few requests to upload this, very first mix done for this great AOR music site.

Hopefully we'll get our act together for doing a new mix in the not too distant future for this cool site, until then untie the ropes, cast off from the quay, and sail away!

"Marina Rock" is a term coined by David B. Lyons, the co-creator of the television show "Yacht Rock".
While the "elite studio artists" of the 1975 -1984 golden age of AOR such as Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins were "Yacht", the acts who had no yuppie credentials or who never quite made the big-time such as Bobby Caldwell, Player and Rick Bowles were strictly "Marina".
Most of the track selection for this mix is of the "Marina Rock" variety, along with a few "Yacht Rock artist thrown in to even it out.
