SCOTT BOND Biography

Recognized by many, Scott Bond is the name of a man who is unquestionably one of the true pioneers of the trance music scene. Scott has been credited with shaping the sound that we all love by contributing as a DJ, producer and promoter. He is also well-known for being the co-founder and driving force behind one of the most successful clubbing brands in the world,"Gatecrasher". This earned him the title of "Worlds Finest Resident" as voted for globally by readers in the Mixmag Dance Music Awards thanks to his acclaimed Gatecrasher residency.

Exploring Scott's discography, he has been responsible for mixing 15 trance albums. Most have been with Gatecrasher including the ground breaking Black, Red, Wet and Disco-Tech which positioned the sound of the club both in terms of musical and artistic direction. These went from silver to platinum in less than a year and boasted sales in excess of 1 million units worldwide. He has also received high praise for his Platinum, AHEAD and Slinky Trans-Atlantik releases. As if that wasn't enough, Scott has appeared four times in a row on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix.

Bondy, as he is sometimes referred to by his loyal following has a passport packed with every conceivable border entry stamp - he has toured the world over. He has played in the most renowned events, taking in every continent with globe-trotting DJ performances across more than 40 different countries, festivals and clubs. These have ranged from Ibiza to Japan, Creamfields to Miami's Ultra Music Festival and Ministry of Sound to Zouk.

Over the course of the year, Scott has been working on his long-awaited Artist album which will feature fresh compositions and collaborations with many of his favourite producers. He has one intention in mind, to bring his sound to the very forefront of dance music.

Opportunities have arisen with the re-release of Scott's track "3rd Earth" having reached critical acclaim from the likes of none other than the current World Number 1 DJ Armin Van Buuren. Armin has been so impressed with this masterpiece that he has created his own exclusive mash up to play in his sets which have featured in every country on ASOT 600 "The Expedition" World Tour. If that wasn't enough, the original was included on several A State of Trance compilations as well as the multi-national Tiesto in concert DVD receiving an overwhelming support from the Trance elite. Productions such as Naked Angel and The Red Line Highway have also launched their way into the charts on the world's most prolific Trance label, Armada.

Talented, reliable and one of the most well-respected Trance DJs out there. Scott has achieved an all-time high position of 34 in the DJ Mag poll and continues to attract capacity crowds throughout. Undoubtedly, his unique ability to handpick beautifully crafted music by delving into the depths of the unknown has helped him unearth some unique, buried treasure which makes him stand-out from the pack. These ingredients form his trademark style and take any listener on a perfectly mixed, exploration of Trance.

Energetic and never failing to deliver, his latest venture, "RΞBOOTΞD" marks a return to the true, authentic nature of trance music. In Scott's own words "RΞBOOTΞD is about climate change. The focus will be entirely on quality, encapsulating those pumping and uplifting melodies that feed our emotions whilst at the same time maintaining the urban rawness of the underground which Trance is sadly lacking these days".
