Today we continue to celebrate the life and musical journey of Frankie Knuckles aka The Godfather of House on the 2nd anniversary of his passing.(Jan.18 1955 – March 31 2014)

In Chicago, Frankie Knuckles was called the “Godfather,” not because of any underworld connections, but because he helped build "House Music" – a style of Chicago dance music that revolutionized club culture in the ‘70s and ‘80s and still resonates around the world today as one of the most popular music art forms.

Frankie is widely recognized for developing the sound and culture of house music and he and Larry Levan (Paradise Garage) are the main reasons I'm a "house head" today. I dedicate this Diamond Tribute House Experience set to celebrate his legacy, his music and his memory. Thanx for all the ear candy Frankie and I'm sure you and Larry are throwing one hell of a party in House Heaven. Continue to R.I.Paradise Godfather.
