I first here this song on a TV show called the Brady Bunch back when I was a kid. It was one of the moments that got me into music, and one of the reasons I really like Don Ho and Hawaiian music. The arrangement he did with his singing partner Sam Kapu I believe is still the best arrangement out there. I'm having trouble pin pointing when this song was written, there is some bad info floating around web which attributes this song to Mack Gordon and Harry Revel in 1937 for the show Love and Hisses, but this is a different song. As far as I can determine Waggner and Keyes wrote this in the Fifties. It was recorded by Don Ho in the sixties and appeared as a cameo on the Brady bunch in the early 70s. First song of 2015, didn't expect it to be this one!
