This is DJ Roy Thode at the Opening Party of the Ice Palace 57 in 1977 in New York City. The club was owned by Jimmy Merry who also owned the Ice Palace, Barefoot Boy, Red Parrot, The Country Cousin, The Lib (Formally Sage 45). There were also a celebrity lounge where regular guests such as Andy Warhol, Grace Jones, Halston, Bianca Jagger and others could be seen.

This Reel to Reel had some dropout and tape wobble but becuase of the Historical Significance of the tape I mastered it exactly how the original was recorded. Enjoy
