Messier

Messier is a sound design proof of concept. Perhaps more honestly two pieces in one, Messier transitions from a meditative soundscape, reminiscent of a wood full of insects, to a trip-hop folly, intended to sound marginally overfull, like a machine running at capacity. The whole invokes a sense of claustrophobia against an unreachable vastness, designed to accompany a protagonist in some kind of dungeon.
