Music and sounds of AJ Moon

AJ Moon is an Australian pianist and composer based in Newcastle upon Tyne. He has performed in bands and in a solo capacity across the North East in a variety of genres. He has worked closely with Newcastle author Icy Sedgwick, with whom he has collaborated on audio experiments under the name Sedgwick & Moon: hearthis.at/sedgwick-moon

From 2018 to 2020 he ran Old Tom, a monthly Folk and Acoustic night at the Globe in Newcastle, designed to celebrate established acts while providing a showcase space for emerging talent in the North East Folk and Acoustic music scene.

In 2018, AJ Moon wrote and released two singles with four-piece Indie Folk act the Violet Bunnies. Aria and Grass are both on Spotify - open.spotify.com/artist/6LClPA...h3JVAeo72SeAIbG - and on all good online stores.
