ZmoKingZ is electronically produced music without rules, inspired by whatever i can find. As a project, ZmoKingZ is my journey to find the weirdest sounds i can create to put my energy into music that hopefully will give you a smile.

Philipp Schober was born in Darmstadt, Germany, in 1988. He developed his love for music at a young age and has devoted himself to it ever since. In 2000 he first got into closer contact with electronic music, most notably the harder subgenres, which then gave a new direction to his life. In 2004 he started his career as a DJ, 2007 he started working under the alias "ZmoKingZ", mainly in Hardcore Techno.
At the same time he also started producing tracks on his own. In producing he didn't limit himself to only one genre, instead keeping it open and thereby aquiring various skills not confined to a specific style of composing. He was especially influenced by Drum 'n' Bass, Dubstep and Ambient.
From 2011 on he also started recording and performing in collaboration with other artists, including Dominique Nefeux alias “Driftkong” (Dubstep producer and DJ), Ralf Creter alias “Con-Creter” (Drum & Bass producer and DJ) and last but not least with Oliver Reitemeier as a Electro-Vocal ensemble.
In early 2012, the “Zoo-Rumble Ep” became the debut-release of Driftkong and ZmoKingZ on Future Follower Records. Aside from releasing several remixes under Future Follower Records, Tanzkultur Audio and A1000Beats, he has now produced his first solo release, the "Digital Sunshine EP" on LU20 Records.

Philipp Schober wurde 1988 in Darmstadt geboren. Schon in jungen entwickelte er eine besondere Liebe zur Musik und setzte sich viel mit ihr auseinander. Im Jahr 2000 kam er erstmals intensiv mit elektronischen Musikrichtungen in Kontakt , darunter vor allem den härteren Subgenres, die sein Leben von da an prägten. Im Jahr 2004 begann er mit dem Auflegen und fokussierte sich ab 2007 dann auf Hardcore Techno, erstmals auch unter dem synonym „ZmoKingZ“. Parallel startete er auch seine ersten Gehversuche im Produzieren eigener Tracks. Hier ließ er sich alle Freiheiten jeden Stil nach Herzenslust auszuprobieren und eignete sich die verschiedensten Fertigkeiten im Komponieren von Tracks an. Zudem fanden auch Drum & Bass, Dubstep und Ambient Sounds Einzug in seine Arbeit. Ab 2011 begann er weitere Projekte mit anderen Künstlern, darunter Dominique Keufen alias „Driftkong“ als Dubstep Producer und Djs, wie auch Ralf Creter alias „Con-Creter“ als Drum & Bass und Ambient Producer. Im Frühjahr 2012 wurde mit der „Zoo-Rumble Ep“ das gemeinsame Debüt-Release von Driftkong und ZmoKingZ auf LU20 Records veröffentlicht. Neben einigen Remixen die auf Future Follower Records, Tanzkultur Audio und A1000Beats erschienen sind, folgte mit der Digital Sunshine Ep das erste Single-Release von ZmoKingZ auf LU20 Records gegen Ende 2012.
