Profile description of Worldklock:

Mojo Worker.

I was a Blues Piano Player deep in Chicago's South and West-sides in 1967-69. As a member of "Sam Lay and the Mojo Workers" (Sam was drummer in Dylan's first electric group), we played clubs like Pepper's, the L&H Lounge, Mother Blue's and the Key Largo. Folks would often come by and sit-in with us (the clubs were open 'til 5:00 am) - Cotton, Koko, Butter' and Bloomfield. What a big time we had.

Experiments with sound since 1975 have naturally evolved into a varied sonic array - examples of which I will present here for you. I've long ago come to the realization that these pieces are, certainly at present, for a very select, adventurous few; and that acceptance and comprehension of the new is not in everyone's playbook - the great majority rather finding comfort and security in the warm embrace of the mundane. I hope you are among the few.
