XLNT 006 - BMD - Funky Chops (preview)

BMD returns with a brand new Nu Funk release on XLNT Records. ‘Funky Chops’ is a mixture of classic funk drums, grooving bass, smooth rhodes, horns and funky guitars. The tune is followed by three very different remixes. max.sugar chops the original and turns it into an electronic chilled out version characterized by his distinctive sweet sound of synth bass. Rory Hoy takes us into the world of Big Beat, adding massively sounding drums and low pitched spoken vocals, whereas Warson remixes the original with his own bass line, making the tune perfect for club dancefloors.
After four hefty funky chops, there is no better way of closing the EP than with a sweet dessert. ‘Mint Leaf’ is a downtempo Nu Funk tune, ideal to lay back, relax and let yourselves get carried away.
