Fun Facts:
So Begins the Crying started out as a guitar piece that George had composed.
He gave a tape of himself playing it to Ken, who then wrote the lyrics.
Ken wrote the song about a friend who was suffering from mental health issues, including chronic paranoia.
These apparently came about following a bad experience with some LSD.
The photo is of Cliff (left) and Shaun (right) at Wud HQ in early 1985.
Shaun is probably the protagonist of the song's lyrics, and a mighty fine guitar player too.
So Begins the Crying later became a regular song in the set of Rough Terrain and was performed live many, many times.
