Here at We Forfeit we are always trying to source new and exciting mixing types to keep our stock as fresh as it can possibly be. Our latest plato principal comes from a little known Madrid based entity: DJ En La Medida En Que No Quería Ser Uno, which roughly translates into DJ Insofar As He/I Didn’t Want To Be One.

Born and raised in the Spanish capital, this new friend of WE FORFEIT serendipitously bumped into Robbie and Chris while the lads were out eating a plate of ham. Recognising Chris from his photo (see Chris here igloomag.com/features/we-forfe...-yoodjs-special) the madrileño told us he was a listener and might have something from his own vinyl only mix archives for the gents.

This new member of the WE FORFEIT family offers up a scintillating selection that spans a spread of styles such as synth wave, gruelling acid, dark disco, mutant house and much more. Fingers crossed he’ll have more for us in the future if he can tear himself away from the record shops, the slot machines and the litre bottles of Mahou.
