Here is my set from from The Love Shack at Solfest 2019.
This isn't some pretty, digital, edited or perfect DJ set. It's a tribute to my best friend. If you were partying in the late 80's and early 90's at illegal and naughty parties, you'll get it. This was recorded live on 2 x Technics 1210's and a Vestax PMC 08 Pro. ALL Original vinyl and containing all the scratches, jumps and pops that records over 25 years old and well travelled should contain. It's a tribute to when times were less restrictive. A tribute to a generation that lived for now and weren't afraid to show it. A tribute to freedom, really. If you're under 35, you won't get this music or the lifestyle that went with it. Myself and Super Dave were part of something that was so beautiful and simplistic and naughty that it feels like we Fucked up Shit for all you Party people. You will never know the joy of chasing cars up and down the country to finally end up at a place with 500-15,000 people living for the moment, surrounded with the craziest music and chemicals known to man. I have tried to keep this selection accurate to how I used to play this music and to the vibe of these parties. I am just so glad that Super Dave was next to me. We were part of history.
