Today for the 15th mix in our guest mix series we have Madrid based producer Ernie .

Influenced by electronic music of the late 80’s and Old School hip-hop, Ernie had his first encounter with the underground scene in Madrid in 1995. He quickly developed a huge passion for it, which led him to become an artist on the same scene soon after.

His flawless career has evolved through popular venues and festivals like Sónar 2010 (Barcelona), Watergate (Berlin), Club Der Visionaere (Berlin), Garito Cafe (Palma de Mallorca), Northern Purpose @ The Camp (London), The Horse & Groom (London), Batti Batti Showcase (Malta), Charada (Madrid), Weekend (Madrid), Wonky (Madrid), Audium (Madrid), Miniclub (Valencia), Moog (Barcelona), LoLita (Barcelona), D.Club (Laussane), La Feria (Santiago de Chile), Dominica club 54 (Santiago de Chile), Soma (Madrid), Museo de arte Contemporáneo (Bologna), NP @ Public Life (London), La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Conrad Sohm Club. Ernie´s sets are combination of dub techno, Deep house, Detroit house, Chicago house, Disco and Funk, full of sensibility and personality. He is a 100% vinyl lover and beatdown sounds.

In 2004, Ernie created “Minuendo Recordings” alongside C. Gonzalez, one of the most eclectic artists in the current electronic underground scene. They have released a wide range of styles under the same label: IDM, Deep House, Techno, Ambient, Electro… from respected artists such as Antonelli Eclectr., Trolley Route aka Oscar Mulero, Arcanoid, Juju & Jordash, Patrice Scott, Peven Everett, Stacy Kidd, Chicago Skyway, Chicagodeep, Taelue, Jus-Ed, Xpansul, Dubbyman, Ricardo Miranda, Lady Blacktronika, Bjak, Satore, Above Smoke… among others.

At present, Minuendo is mainly focused in urban sounds, Deep house, Deep techno, Soulful & Disco music.

Ernie has also released through other labels such as like Deep Explorer Music, DeepArtSounds, Batti Batti, Bliq Music, Feelharmonic, Prized, Hizou, Contrast Wax, Morris Audio Citysport…
