“Tim Healey tears the speakers apart, the music is as cutting edge as it can be” DJ Magazine

London based Tim ran his first rave in the UK in 1990, and has been DJing, remixing and releasing LPs and original club cuts for over 20 years, as he continues to blaze a trail as music tastemaker-extraordinaire. His unique sound spans the “druggier end of house - from techno to breaks - wherever the bass line is king, and the production is fresh”. Tim has played to crowds in excess of 1m in Brazil, and street parades in Israel and the UK. His productions have ensured his position as favoured producer for BBC radio jocks like Pete Tong and Annie Mac.

Having cut his teeth on the underground psychedelic scene in the ‘90s, he now purveys housier beats, leaning towards deep house and techno, peppering his sets with his remixes, new productions and mash ups.

His extensive discography includes international dance hits (Coburn’s “We Interrupt this programme” (MOS)) and remixes for pop, rock and indie acts from artists as diverse as Pharell, Gwen Stefani and The Temptations.

Tim has run his own studio since the ‘90s and collaborated with artists at the forefront of their scenes straddling genres fromdrum’n’bass to hip hop. His music has been used on multiple HBO and BBC TV series and on adverts around the world 2017 has seen Tim delivering a slew of remixes, with re-workings of Black Grape, Deekline, Banco de Gaia, Sophie Barker and X-Dream on labels ranging from Universal to Hot Cakes.

He has also been recording solo material, and developing his new project Bennun & Healey, with Bristol based sound-smith Colin Bennun. DB Stereo, his label with long time collaborator, Tomcraft, champions his cross-genre sound and his radio show “Revolutions, your guide to left field house” is monthly on Earth Dance Radio.
