VENENO soundcloud.com/veneno is the one man band of Alejandro Ferrer, a conservatory student, born in an industrial neighborhood of Buenos Aires, who is currently based in Mexico. His music is a hybrid between rock and electronica, but the result is neither one nor the other. It's a raw, mysterious and hypnotic sound, or as described on MTV Iggy: "Scientists have been trying to find a way to combine the ass shaking quotients of rock ‘n’ roll and electronic dance music for some time now. Previously, their findings have been disappointing, but Veneno may have just hit on it there. The result is unpretentious dance music you can’t not move to.” With releases on two English labels; Etoro Records and Tici Taci, the first one is the label of Isa GT and the last one is from Duncan Gray, a close collaborator of Andrew Weatherall.
VENENO played in some cool places like Batonga party in Pacha Buenos Aires, M.N.Roy and Leonor (with Red Axes) in Mexico City, as well as a presentation in NTS Radio in England.
