After a short prorogation The Poeticast returns with a Guest Mix from Australian Techno pioneer Vohkinne.

Vohkinne aka Craig McWhinney, has been producing electronic music for over a decade and has inspired a generation of Techno enthusiasts and producers in his homeland and beyond. The scene in Melbourne is currently thriving and he has had a big part to play in that.

As one of the founding members of the Melbourne Techno Collective and as label boss of Haul Recordings, Craig has forged his own unique sound, influenced equally by the sounds of Detroit, House and Techno.

With a string of releases on his First label Haul Music, and current label Atrophic Society under the alias Vohkinne, his productions are now attracting global attention. Describing his music as tough, textural techno, Craig has released remixes and EPs for labels like Electric Deluxe, Steadfast records, Sub Squared, Attemporal, Sample & Hold and many more.

Drawing upon his wealth of DJing experience and a gift for sound design, he crosses the boundaries of techno and house with precision and intent, creating dancefloor focussed music that speaks to both mind and feet.
