This project is to ensure that in a time where the sounds have changed, never to forget the real roots and where it all started .....

In 1976, Instant Funk released their first independent album "Get down with the Philly jump" on TSOP Records which includes the funk infused Philly-Disco/Philly-Soul classic "It ain't Reaggae (but it's funky)". The Groovin Beats Ensemble (Lello Cacciola, Tony Maione, DaSouL) breathe new life into the song, keeping the spirit and vibe of the original alive yet giving it a modern truly glamorous and captivating 4/4 twist.
