Exploding All Over You

Alright, I already know about the sexual title of this track...

Basically a good friend of mine (who I often use as a sounding board) described the track as me 'exploding all over the place'. Expecting some kind of country rock number, he said that it sounded like I was releasing a lot of frustration in the track. He was probably right.

This loose, balls to the wall jam was one of the first tracks I recorded after after my recent 5 month musical hiatus. It was really just intended to get the cobwebs out and get the blood pumping. I never thought of putting it out but I dig it for what it is.

You can hear a lot of my adolescent rock influences in it - The Stooges, The MC5, The Rolling Stones, Little Richard, AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, etc.

I particularly like the free flowing bass and drums. In fact I think the drums remind me a bit of Steven "popcorn" Adler from Guns n' Roses - who is very underrated in my opinion.

Not much more to say other than I had a good time and I hope it comes through. For the record every instrument was one take (apart from one small guitar edit, but I won't tell you where).
