Music and sounds of DJ Draven Josh

DJ Draven Josh hails from the suburban Detroit area. Detroit and its house music scene from the nineties really inspired him while growing up. Hearing such radio personalities as DJ Claude Young and Stacey “Hot Waxx” Hale, Draven’s interest in music as a profession was peaked. He did his research, found the right equipment, and scoured the local record stores for vinyl. He taught himself how to beat-mix and in a few short years he had the opportunity to deejay at a club where none other than Stacey “Hot Wax” Hale herself was in attendance. Today, DJ Draven Josh has nearly twenty years of deejaying experience under his belt. He moved to Los Angeles in 1997 and has since spun at nearly every venue in the Los Angeles community.

He spins a wide range at all his events including pop, hip hop, and 70s-80s-90s. And, he has a thorough knowledge of another genre completely unrelated, that of New Age. But, when one sees Draven behind the turntables, they have no idea how much knowledge and love he has for music and entertaining a crowd with his talents, but his passion shows through to the many packed dance floors he has created.
