Sven Pulsar was born 5th October 1971 in Ratingen, the town where he also started his DJ career. At the tender age of 15 years he spend a lot of time in the week with the turntable of his aunt who owned a Discotheque in Ratingen called “BACCARA”.
He had a lot of fun mixing the records and the enjoyment soon turned to a passionate interest.
A year later he stood every weekend behind the turntables and spoiled his audience with his music. Even then he had played all the electronic music available.
There was an interval in 1993 were he only played music for his own enjoyment until 1997 when he travelled to the Rave and Cruise to Africa.
At a pool party after one of the DJ’s couldn’t attend he had been approached to fill in and carry on with the entertainment. His selection had been a total success. He realised then, that this was his calling. After he returned he immediately bought himself two new turntables and started again with playing his records.
Through his presence at the music scene, opportunity knocked for playing again in Clubs.
He played at the legendary “Dorian Gray” in Frankfurt, at the “Tribehouse” in Neuss, Poison Club, Tor3, Viva Lounge, Königsburg, Loveparade, Streetparade, Reeincarnation etc…
He played with DJ´s like Timo Maas, Loco Dice, Marc Spoon(RIP) Moguai, Phil Fuldner, Sven Väth, DJ Sammy, Milk & Sugar, Boogie Pimps, DJ Hell, Carl Cox ,Nastia,Format B. Thomas P.-Heckmann just to mention a few.
There followed gigs in Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Luxemburg, Croatia, Netherlands, Mallorca, Ibiza, Koh Pangan Thailand and even Bali in Indonesia he rocked the clubs.
Since a few years he his own radio broadcast “Sven Pulsar & Friends” which is send live every second Friday. Sven is also busy in the studio while recording.
