Sugur Shane

Miami, United States

In the current age of constant artistic regurgitation, it is rare to find true originals defying music genres. By fusing hip-hop influence with vogue house-inspired rhythms, Philadelphia’s Sugur Shane is the definition of realness. His unrivaled productions, memorable live performances, and vitalizing DJ sets, undoubtedly, crown him Philadelphia’s finest.

The extremely anticipated follow-up to Sugur Shane’s massive Main Course EP, Kill Da Bitch, is a revitalized version of the previous self-released track, “Boy Girl Fling”. Supported by club music kings Top Billin, the Boy Girl Fling EP slaps with a remixed original, along with remixes by industry peers: drippin, Copout, Dj Fade, Beek, and Cunt Traxxx. Boy Girl Fling is predestined to become an underground summer music staple for the internet streets.

Sugur Shane’s natural impulse of persistence has led to major accomplishments throughout the past several months, most notably the Complex release of Kill Da Bitch and the Billboard premiere of the self-directed music video for “Kill Da Bitch”. Staying connected with his fan base, collaborations with Astronomar, Cobra Krames, DJ Kilbourne, and Schwarz x 333 Boyz consecutively hit speakers after the release of Kill Da Bitch in August 2014.

Heavily influenced by Gillette and the Notorious B.I.G., Shane’s perfected blend of house and hip-hop music was first noticed in 2005 by DJ Se7en and DJ Teke. With his support, Sugur’s revamp of Club’s 69’s “Drama” gained remarkable club play along the East Coast and South. The track received a tremendous amount of positive feedback and sparked Shane to release more original hip-hop and house projects. In 2013, Sugur Shane, released his colossal debut mixtape, “My Night with Peter and Junior”, an immaculate merging of classic songs and the infamous ballroom “Ha”. With collaborations and support by scene heavy-hitters like Astronomar, Bessnectar, Dubble Dutch, Tom Stephen, L-Vis 1990, Cashmere Cat, (to name a few), Sugur Shane is that cup of tea!
