Sorting out some old stuff and come across this mixtape that I had made in the late 90’s when I was doing my weekly Thursday night thing at Circo in Brum. It’s the era when instead of using 1200’s I played on 2 CD Walkman’s plugged into the back of the mixer!

It’s pretty much the first mix I had done since I hung my club headphones and is an early attempt to put a coherent eclectic selection together moving away from the thump, thump, thump of the clubs.

Having listened back to it a couple of times I have re-recorded it, although it’s far from being ground breaking, it is a good listen, a personal flash back in time and is a blueprint to the stuff that I do now. Going by the dates of some of the most recent tracks of the time, the music I was into, I put it down to be sometime in 1998(ish).
