I arrived at the party late so only heard and saw Confidence Man this year but now I am hooked on their fresh, happy, harmonious, quality music! That they were formed in my hometown of Brisbane, Australia is just a coincidence as I love all the diverse artists that seem to have influenced their songs. I really think this is how the best 2020’s pop band should sound… and look, due to the incredible presence of Janet Planet and Sugar Bones and their entrancing performances. In this mix, I have used a tried and tested approach to alternate songs from one artist with complementary vibes, harmonies and BPMs to create a pleasurable listening journey. Also, if you haven’t heard of Logic 1000 her productions are also totally amazing and I’ve included 3 of her tracks in this mix which starts at 125 BPM, drops to 120 then up to 130 over 57 minutes. As always, I do this for my love of music and if anyone else likes it then that’s great. Can’t wait to see ConMan live in November 2022!
