I just learnt of the very sad news that Miggy Barradas passed away, so wanted to share this wonderful live performance of his I recorded in Camden Town circa 2007/8. Sit back, listen and enjoy his exquisite drumming, so laid back and modest yet full of character and flair. You can hear how conscious and considerate he is of the rest of the players, how he facilitates the whole ensemble to maintain the groove so seemingly effortlessly. His personality really shines through in his playing. The ideal drummer and all round lovely bloke, he'll be sorely missed.
