A recording I made of broadcaster, composer and educator Alexander D. Great performing for attendees at the George Padmore Institute christmas party in 2012. I decided to dig it out and upload it because I just learnt that New Beacon Books, GPI's home, is currently promoting a fundraising campaign to help sustain their enterprise. "Established in 1966 by John La Rose & Sarah White, NBB was the UKs first black bookshop & publishing house. 50yrs on still here but need community support."
