Hello everyone, friends who love electronic music!
This week the cover of the Magazine is dedicated to "Atmosphere", the new lo-fi beats EP by Liquid Rainbow,
now historic Italian formation that over the years has produced many interesting things ranging from psychedelic rock to trip hop, already known on our frequencies, from this new collaboration with the Brazilian guitarist Conviving with Me we have extracted two tracks from the atmospheresfloating and relaxing just released on the Juum records label, further listenings from the same EP will follow in the next episodes; a more than worthy introduction to a play list that will be full of genres, styles and moments of electronic music apparently very distant from each other but united by a single root, the psychedelic one that tonight we will listen to in its most disparate declinations, from the ambient / space rock of Gabriele Tosti aka G-Delic, super psychedelic producer of great experience and talent who as a bassist has participated in multiple projects, from Thunderdogs, already active since the early 90s (and in whose line-up we find for example the legendary Gavin Griffiths guitarist and drummer, also known in the very first formations of Ozric Tentacles and/or “Ululators”), but also for “Dream Machine”, Land of Dreams and The G-delic Orchestra.

The selection continues with the Brazilian producer Kika Deeke, who on the "Tropical Twista" label makes us listen to excellent tropical techno that is always super psychedelic, and then goes back thirty years with a leap to 1991, the year in which "The Orb" in Their historic album "The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld" makes us dream with "Little Fluffy Clouds", a small masterpiece that ranges between downtempo, psychedelic dub and techno trance.
At this point it would be a grave sin not to play a track of Eat Static, an offshoot from Ozric Tentacles, we can define it as the founding column of the genre which will soon be defined and will be cataloged as "goa trance" and then more modern "Psy-Trance ", we are in 1993 and I assure you that at the time no one had ever produced anything even remotely close to that sound,a true precursor, a pioneer of electronics whose productions still amaze today after over 30 years.

New leap to the present day with Panda Dub of which we listen to "Myopie" from his album "Born to Dub", on the French label ODG which has the merit of having launched this artist who manages to merge French Dub and electro pop in a never obvious or "commercial".

And again the Londoner Kakes with the track "Junoon" on the Indian label Kosa rec. , where we find pop, organic beats and techno, the space-time jumps continue and let's go and listen System 7, also in this case we could spend hours discussing the two members of this stainless formation composed of Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy, already among the founders years before Gong, are the embodiment of the history of psychedelia, in fact it is precisely Steve who in 1995 was asked to bring something new to the Glastonbury Festival, where he would be curator of the first electronic dance stage from whose spin off the "Glade festival" would be born years later! in short, another story to know and listen to!

We close with two last tracks, once again separated by a long time but united by psychedelia, "Iscence" is the penultimate track of the episode, They are the legendary Ozric Tentacles, Edward Wynne (born in 1961) has been leading the different formations that have seen keeping the project alive, in addition to the aforementioned Merv Pepler and Gavin Griffiths over thirty years and more, other musicians have rotated there such as the historic flautist John Egan, the keyboardist Joie Hinton, famous for the use of classical synthesizers in their productions, It's a pleasure to send them on the radio just before their tour which will soon see them in Italy in April in Milan, Turin, Genoa, Pordenone, Rome and Bologna.
We close with "Walking dreams" a beautiful track by Alpa Gino taken from "How Do U Dub - Support comp. Vol.5 - Dub For Solidarity" fifth chapter. of a splendid electronic Dub series that finances projects against food waste.
