Music and sounds of soulseeker

Borrowing Soul, Funk and Rare groove LP’s from family members (some of which never made it back!) Soul Seeker has a varied musical background and a voracious habit of finding evermore new sounds and rhythms from different genres.

Having started out doing underground parties in Preston and Manchester in the late nineties (playing to back rooms and chill-out areas gave him the opportunity to play a generous mix of all styles and surprise people without the need to be the main attraction), he got a feel for what makes people move whilst remaining intent on peppering his sets with tracks that no-one knew or could get. Having played in all the major venues up and down the country Soul Seeker is a true veteran for the cause.

You will mainly hear Soul Seeker mix a cocktail of Soulful, Afro & Deep House, garnished with a bit of Funk, Rare Groove and Soul. His philosophy is simple "If it’s got a positive feeling and a rhythmic complexity and then it’s on the agenda." He classes himself as a servant to all "House Heads"
