Sittin Pretty

Bolton, United Kingdom

Blending classic rock, blues and touches of psychedelia with captivating and enigmatic live
performances, Bolton band Sittin’ Pretty have established themselves as one of the most talked-about
bands in the North West.
Formed in 2013, the band’s ever-maturing sounds sees them draw comparisons to bands such as
Led Zeppelin, Cream, The Doors, and The Arctic Monkeys while frontman Conor Wilde channels
early Mick Jagger with the confidence and swagger of a bona fide rock star on stage.
The four piece are exciting, unique and above all ambitious - they’ve already shared a stage with the
likes of Primal Scream, Black Grape, Reverand and The Makers and Foals, and have just completed
a national tour supporting Ian Hunter of Mott The Hoople fame. The tour saw them playing at some of
the UKs best live venues, The Garage – Glasgow, The Sage – Gateshead, The Tramshed – Cardiff,
The O2 Shepherds Bush Empire – London. The audiences were noticeably impressed by their
performances, and the way in which their parochial naturalness seems to rage hard against the
tiresome Manc cliché, edged in angst and palpable menace.
Their New single ‘Take My Shoes’ has been produced by Joe Gibb – who has previously worked with
many major artists including The Kinks, The Stone Roses and The Cure. It was released on 28th
November 2016 and is available from all the usual online streaming sites and market places.
The band recently recorded 3 live tracks and an interview for MUTV which has an estimated audience
of 15 Million people in 80 Countries. The recently released single ‘Take My Shoes’ was aired on
MUTV on Thursday 12th January 2017 and the rest of the tracks and a ten minute interview is
currently being programmed for released on the channel later this year.
