Music and sounds of Donga_DJ

From the North East of England originally and lived in Western Australia since 2012. Did my growing up in the late 80's and 90's finishing school in 95. Back in the day I played Double bass and some wind instruments and was well into Jazz music (still am a bit if I'm honest)
I love many types of music, and my main genres for mixing are Trance, Hard Trance, Hardhouse and like a bit of Disco House. My love for Trance started in 96 with Robert Mile’s Children but can probably back date it to listening to the Euphoric tones of Enya in the early 90’’s
In early 2000s I went clubbing in the Welly club in Hull, this is where I first heard Hard House after seeing the Tidyboys, Lisa Lashes amongst other. I also used to go to the Deja Vu nights there for Funky house/Disco nights.
Always wanted to learn to DJ and finally got around to it early 2020 (So wish I started in the 90’s) Still got a lot to learn but enjoying the journey and loving meeting like-minded people
Donga DJ comes from me working remotely in Australia and when away, living in temporary accommodation known not so lovingly in the industry as 'Donga's' A Lot of my sets are played when I'm away from home in the Donga!
The thought of people partying to the tunes I play, often 'From a Donga nowhere near you' makes me a very happy guy. Music for me is all about feelings and connecting people. I'm also on YouTube if you'd like the full dad dancing experience.
