An excerpt from my 'State of Independence' extended backing track.
Vocal/topline is provided here by the breathy/flute sound or reference. Not present in any backing track versions.
Covered by lots of people including Chrissie Hynde and Donna Summer, I've updated this Jon and Vangelis classic with some more modern drum loops, a 'fatter' synth bassline and some more 'present' synth sound which give it more 'up front' live kind of sound.
Synth bass arppeggio was programmed on Synapse Audio's DUNE software wavetable synth.
