My brain has Been Collecting Music, for as long as I can remember
I started buying & collecting Vynal, as early as 1976 (when I was 6)
My Parents used to manage a Public House (Beer Tavern), I always used to look forward to Tuesdays when the new records were changed on the Juke Box,
My Mom & I would buy the old records for pennies, This is where my Journey Began,
The Pub had a Children’s Room, I would set up my make do DJ Rig influenced by the Dj’s Who would come to the pub (Phil & Tony). These guys gave me my 1st ever Promo LP Sampler, on United Artists Records (Which I still have)
The 1st ever Track I purchased from a shop (Graduate Records Dudley) was a Led Zeppelin UK demo 7" for £2.79p I hear its worth a bit these days as ‘Zep’ never released any 7's in the UK..
For me, the 70' & 80's were the finest Era's musically... So many new styles...
