a 60 minute mix from the TONE party at the Kitchen, NYC, December 1995 I think. 2 turntables and a walkman. I had just heard a fine set by Collin Strange and Satamile in the other room, and it was really abrasive, unlike anything I'd really heard, so when it was my turn I hunted on the B-sides of my 7"s and inbetweens on the CDs, and found stuff that i might have played for the first time right then.

the little dot-bomb startup i was working for, the boss had an xmas party for us out in NJ, so I got to take the stretch an hour back alone, all the way to the front door. nobody was waiting to see me. honk the horn!!
