Sam's passion for music, especially Funk/Soul/Jazz was ignited at a tender age after being immersed in his family’s record collection.

A regular club DJ and no stranger to the airwaves in Auckland City since 1995 (bFM’s Jazz Show & ‘The Main Ingredient’ ’97-2004, George FM 2004-2019).

When he’s not behind the turntables, you’ll find him in front of a stack of amplifiers handling lead guitar duties in Kiwi Rock monsters Luger Boa & The Defendants.

Sam eats, sleeps & breathes music and has opened for a variety of international and local acts including: The Kings Of Leon, Meatloaf, Shihad, The Charlatans, Airbourne , Moodyman, Head Like A Hole & The Living End, Kid Loco.
