Flatfoot Floogie (with A Floy Floy)

I had a lot of fun doing this one, a 12-bar blues, in Open-D tuning, accompanied by a trio of Garageband sidemen -- bass, drums and organ, plus two "Slimettes" (from Slim Jimsøhn's entourage) caught clapping along in the background.

The title is in honor of Slim Gaillard, a much-too-little-known musician and composer from the early years of Swing. His music and humor were subversive, but always right on.
