Felix Strangmüller and Manuel Maier, both 22, fell in love with Electronic Dance Music years ago when the Swedish dance music scene was what it was all about. Inspired by the melodic synths of Progressive House superstars like Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, Dirty South, Tim Berg and Alesso, both of them soon started to experiment with different styles of dance music, independently starting to DJ and working on sets, mixtapes and edits. After being friends for years, they decided to start a collaborative project – in 2013, SAME STORY was born. Powered by local promoters, the duo quickly started to gain traction in the regional event scene, and after several years of DJing together, there's still a lot more to come.
