"Size doesn't matter", is not only my usual pick up line, it's also the motto of this months mixtape, which turned out a bit shorter. But, hey: it's all in the technique, amirite? ...i'll show myself out.

Here's Popscene Nr. 18 with fresh sounds from Franz Ferdinand, The Vaccines and Friendly Fires (they are back, yay!). As always there are some newcomers as well; Fuzzy Sun and Suzi Island are right up your alley, if you miss the classic Britpop from the mid-noughties. Then there's Abhi The Nomad, he makes highly energetic Festival Indie-Hop for the masses while the Rikas sound like they wanna be the next Strokes - keep them on your radar.

Popscene is my monthly Indie mixtape feat. my favourite new, newish and forgotten or overseen songs of the moment. Upbeat and uplifting music that keeps you dancing. Or not. I don’t know your life. Hope you like it.
