RUI IZI, born and raised in Lisbon he have his first contact with the turntables in early 90's he legendary Lisbon hot spot Alcantara Mar. His started as Dj in 1995, playing in tours and as special guest across the country, and he played in more than 70 different clubs standing out more a few legendary clubs such as Sound Planet (Porto), Day After ( Viseu), Via Latina (Coimbra), Industria, Queen’s, Paradise Garage, Alcantara Mar, W-Disco and People (Lisbon); Coconuts and Bahaus (Cascais), Kadoc, Capicua and Capitulo-V ( Algarve)
By 2001, his DJ career went international while touring Mozambique and South Africa, where he had a month residency. Than he toured Brasil with the Portuguese Soulfull Tour, the deep house flavors from Portuguese producers.
In 2003 he was nominee in the Portuguese magazine “Portugal Night” for Rise DJ
In 2005, he toured to France (Val D'Isere), Brazil (Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Caratinga, Uberlândia and Porto Alegre), Mozambique (Maputo) and South Africa (Johannesburg) among a few venues in Portugal with the Portuguese Soulful Sessions Tour
Tours: Tour Chevignon 1999, Dance Tour Lois 2000, Tour Cutty Sark 2001, Dance Tour cd Noite Faixa a Faixa'' vol. 1 & 2, Tour of the TV Channel Sol Music, Tour cd United djs Of Portugal, Tour cd played and left a pleasant atmosphere that creates through their sets beyond the barriers. He's known for his seemingly effortless Portuguese Soulful Sessions
