"The Spot" is WeGotTheSpot - a weekly freestyle jam on the corner of one of the busiest streets in Thailand, Bangkok's Sukhumvit Road. Every Sunday crew come together for free style hip hop - bboys, poppers, lockers, waakers, krumpers, plus poets and MC's come to throw down some freestyle bars over the noise of the traffic.
So very, very occassionally at The Spot, I try my hand at MCing, like maybe at the end of a cypher or something. So this track evolved into a stompy hip hop emcee track so I can sound like I know what I'm doing.
This version is the stompy funked 2016 performancxe version so has backing vox in the verses, with the choruses ables handled by my friend Grace Pasco.
