for this thematic event named 'darkside' i've decided to present an appropriate time travel experience, opening and closing with some legendary tracks from the early beginnings of drum'n'bass in the late 90s and early 2000s, mixing them intentionally with tracks from both new and old dnb headz without chronological order to emphasize timeless value of the music, as well as diversity of forward thinking authors and their different styles, blending both past and present in the same universal story of struggle through darkness in the search for the light. as with each of my live club mixes, special bonus surprise for this one comes in the form of unreleased classic track from fellow CODEX crew, which was one of the highlights on the dancefloor, but certainly not the only one. special treat has also been given to Section 63 with a selection of recent techno-dnb gems created by no other than Dave from the legendary The Sect crew. voyage ends with another of my all-time dnb favourites - Keaton & Nitrox's Venom.
