There's so many things I'm not
But I'm quite fine with that

And all the things I haven't owned
Well, just forget about that

Millions of fine folks I haven't met
Not sorry, it is what it is

And even more places that I haven't seen
Yet there's not even one that I'll miss

There were times that were joyful and some very sad
There's been friendship and hatred and love

Some good food, better drinks, a perfectly fine life
Leaves no yearning for below or above

For I am who I am and I've been who I've been
And was mostly honest about that

I kept bits to myself, but I shared what I could
And you all gave me back more than that

Adventures missed out on, events that I skipped
Gazillions of books still unread

But I've done what I've done and seen what I saw
And spent the rest of my time in my bed

Sometimes in another, in someone's sweet arms
That's for me and the other to know

And I've jumped a few stages, clowned around
Put on the occasional show

There's still more of that to come, don't worry none
Tons of time before my final bow

I just wrote this, pondering, thinking, somewhere,
somewhy, somehow, somenow.
