Starting her Rave Career in Melbourne in the mid 90s, Nomes experienced the Old Rave/Doof Culture Melbourne was renown for. She first began mixing in 2000 and played 'Melbourne Morning Trance', she soon got hooked on to the Uk Hard House sound and was always known for playing the harder, more ballsy stuff. Playing some of Melbourne's biggest Rave Clubs and Events; Hard Kandy, 3D, Krankin, Duel, G.O.D, Kryal Castle, Smile Police/NRG, H2BH, MDA, just to name a few. As she loved the harder UK sound and warehouse parties, she teamed up with her krew and they began to put on underground warehouse parties called "SykoticNomes', which would see 300-400 people call a number for a voicemail msg, leading them to a dingy industrial warehouse crammed in together, going nuts to all the different types of Hard House (even some NRG reaching 160bpm). After 4 successful years of parties, the last one was held in 2007 and soon after Nomes went into retirement, as she had started a family. During her retirement she began playing Full On Psy due to the Uk scene being non existent in Melbourne. Now after 7 yrs, she is back and ready to bring the Uk sound back to Melbourne in full force. Has started putting on her Warehouse parties again (Till Shut Down TSD/AWE) And she has started to make herself very well known in the Rave/Doof Communities once again. Now promoting the Nu-Skool Hard House sound, Melbourne has seen an explosion of interest in the younger scene and can only see this genre grow from here. Her favourite flavour of Uk at the moment is HH/NRG with lots of Psy elements and has seen many of the doofers attending her events loving this new sound of Uk. She loves the bush from Doofs being a big part of the start of her journey in the Melbourne Electronic Scene and that is why it is her dream to start playing at outdoor festivals. 2017 is going to be one hell of a year for the Melbourne Uk Hard House Scene.
