TOMTECH (Tom Kuipers) is a Dutch Artist who was born and raised in the Netherlands. Inspired by Guitarplayer Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) he bought at the age of 16 a wooden spanish guitar and learned to play the guitar (auto didactic) with abook of chords, a videotape of dire straits, and (thanks to mother nature)his absolute hearing. Soon, Tom had formed his own band PLEASURE and has been active for over 30 years as a semi-professional musician (Guitar). Played with various artists, among them the famous american Woman band "Sister Sledge". Although that he was inspired by bands like Chic, Sister Sledge, Shakatak Earth Wind and Fire , Toto Donna Summer and many others, he literally hated House music. Until the early years of this century (about 2002) He met Dj Mark van Dale (Marc Polis (WaterVerve) and became friends. Mark was resident DJ of It and later Escape Venue Amsterdam. At that time Tom was infected with the "house virus" . Since 2005, Tom organized House events with several Famous and international DJ s . His speciality is techhouse.
