The Black Comet

Comets circumnavigate the Oort Cloud out beyond Pluto, and occasionally, some break out from that forbidding darkness and become captured in an orbit about the Sun. Travelling round and round the solar system, they slowly shed their material essence, seeding strange happenings on fertile planets and other celestial bodies. Some, however, carry more from their former dark home, things that perhaps should have stayed there... The Black Comet is alive and the next two hours are spent exploring its composition and the primeval semi-sentient detritus that clings to it...
