Stockholm Syndrome

Preview our new remix of 'Insecticide' by Tronik Youth scheduled for release 07.07.17 on Roam Recordings bit.ly/2upAUiB

Stockholm Syndrome are a DJ/producer duo made up of the Scot Iain Mac aka Pyz and Australian Brett Wilson aka Wil-tron. After seeing one another DJ at the same party and recognising their similar tastes they formed Stockholm Syndrome in late 2013.

Stockholm Syndrome’s style varies widely and can’t be wrapped up in a single genre. They’re drawn to dark, moody, sub 120bpm techno, the raw, energetic Mex-tech, the slow Balaeric, Drug Chug and the strange. Since their debut at Section 8 in Melbourne, Stockholm Syndrome have clocked up an impressive gig list DJing at many of city's iconic venues such as Revolver Upstairs, New Guernica, The Liberty Social, Boney and Mercat Basement.

Since their debut EP 'Drowning Zombies' on Nein Records in November 2016, the duo have directed more focus on original productions and remixes in 2017 with their follow up EP scheduled for release in the 2nd half of 2017 and a number of remixes also in the works.
