In Mar-2016 Scientists at the Venter Institute and Synthetic Genomics.designed and constructed the world's first synthetic lifeform "Mycoplasma Laboratorium". This minimal bacterial cell (JCVI-syn3.0) contained just 473 genes... The cell had four hidden watermarks:

• Html script which read to a browser as text congratulates the decoder with an email link (mroqstiz@jcvi.org) to click to prove the decoding.
• A list of authors and a quote from James Joyce: "To live to err, to fall, to triumph, to recreate life out of life".
• More authors and a quote from Robert Oppenheimer (uncredited): "See things not as they are, but as they might be".
• Yet more authors and a quote from Richard Feynman: "What I cannot build, I cannot understand".
