The Electronic Journeyman #03: Paul Lawler original

Take a trip back in time with us with this 3rd instalment of EJ, featuring the very talented Paul Lawler. I originally became a huge fan of Paul's sets over on Mixcloud. His driving sets show an impeccable taste in music, as proven by his offering here. You can expect to hear some of the pioneers of early techno and acid, such as Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, and Richie Hawtin. Now a word from Paul himself:

"First off a huge huge thanks to Pulsewidth for giving me the opportunity and platform to get this out. For this set I dipped into my old record box and have put together a selection of tracks that date back to the 90s. A fan of pretty much all genres and with so many great tracks and artists over the years the challenge here was what not to play. In terms of genres I've opted here for some early innovative Techno and also some tracks that lean a little more to I guess what could be considered as Tech House. All of these tracks remain as fresh and inspirational to me today as they did back then and still influence me when looking for new tracks. I do hope you find something here that triggers some good memories for you."
