pianoman

Started in 1992 by producer James Sammon and later joined by DJ Carl Cameron. Pianoman became a defining act of the nineties dance scene. Through the release of many white label records and much sought after remixes Pianoman has under various aliases released singles and tracks with London FFRR Records, 3 Beat Records, Ministry Of Sound, AATW Records, EMI Records, Rumour Records and Universal Music.

Pianoman tracks have been covered and copied by the likes of Blonde, Hoxton Whores, Flip & Fill and many more which shows the influence they have had within the dance music scene and not just the Old Skool ones which they are best known.

Pianoman achieved a UK chart hit in July 1996 when his Damon Albarn sampling track entered the pop charts at number 6 and went on to sell over 480,000 units.

With the 90's dance sound once again becoming popular you can hear the influence of Pianoman in tracks by Kiesza, Blonde, Chocolate Puma and many more.
