OK. You need cordless headphones or speakers to go the extra nautical mile for this:
Firstly memorise the words below whilst you get into a relaxed pre-hypnotic state.
Artificial mood enhancers are allowed if it's OK with your parents.
Before turning off all the lights attach two torches to your head using an old sweatband or something similar. (Yes one torch each side, facing forward like your eyes...).
Place a screen/room divider behind you (landside).
Turn the torches on, and turn out the lights.
Now sit in a revolving office chair in the dark.
Start the track and slowly rotate by gently pushing with your feet in a clockwise direction.
Lighthouse speed not light speed, grow up.
Sing the words below in your head. Add echo and gravitas.
When you can make them fit, record and send to me.
Come on, play it louder...
Yes, you can put the lights back on if you're finished rehearsing.

Mostly 10/4 in D @ 120bpm

Shipwreck [After visiting Portland Bill]

Standing like a lighthouse
Feeling the sea
Sucking my feet away
Shining through the mist
Calling through the screams
Blinded by the dark but reaching out
Hoping it keeps you from the rocks
Look out for me
Turn your head and your course
This is just a warning
This is just the curse
Held on the rocks with the barnacles growing
Blind-watching out with salt in my eyes
The noise of the wind, the sting of the splash
The cold, oh God the lonely timeless cold

Shipwreck shipwreck
Don’t run aground
Mend your torn sails
Strap that beam
Lookout be ready
I’ll be looking (out)for you
